Your people pleasing isn’t just kindness…it’s fear.
Fear of being abandoned, fear of making people angry, fear of being too much, of losing love, of not being enough.
Your kindness was never the problem, the ones who took advantage of it were.
Love shouldn’t feel like something we have to earn. We are allowed to set boundaries without feeling guilty. Exhausting ourselves to make everyone else happy is not the answer. Real love will not ask you to abandon yourself!

I am an EMDR trained therapist. If you don’t know what that is…watch the video below. It’s not hypnosis…it’s a science based technique that helps process traumatic experiences or negative thoughts/beliefs using eye movement to get both sides of your brain communicating to each other. I am always amazed what it does to clients in my sessions. Educate yourself…therapy is evolving…it’s not what you think it is!!!

Well…things are starting to move right along! Starting October 1st, I will be taking Optum (includes UHC, UMR, Oxford, All Savers, Surest, etc), Aetna (includes Meritain, Allied, Trustmark, Health Scope, Christian Brothers) and Cigna! I do not have Anthem BCBS yet…but maybe in the future. I also accept private pay and will print a super bill for out of network reimbursement if requested! If you are needing therapy or know someone who does…feel free to give me a shout to see if we would be a good fit!!! Immediate openings this month for private pay clients, and scheduling now for October for insured clients!!!!
