Today, I am withdrawing from the race.

This was not an easy decision. I am proud of the campaign we built—of the people who stepped forward, the conversations we had, and the support we earned across communities.

At the same time, campaigns ultimately come down to timing, resources, and the ability to reach enough voters. After taking a clear and honest look at where things stand, I do not see a viable path forward.

I am deeply grateful to everyone who signed a petition, volunteered, or took the time to engage. Your support mattered, and I do not take it lightly.

The reasons I entered this race have not changed. I will continue to find ways to contribute and stay engaged in the work ahead.
