Your Donations At Work:
NEF provides scholarships to ensure that all students who want to attend the 8th-grade Washington D.C. trip are able to do so. Here is what a scholarship recipient had to say:
Dear NEF,
I want to thank you again for assisting me in being able to attend the Novi 8th Grade Washington D.C Trip. I will forever be grateful for your kindness and generosity. It is because of your foundation and other partnerships with Novi Community Schools that I was able to attend this trip.

I wanted to attend this trip ever since I found out in Elementary School about it back in 1st Grade. I had a great experience while on the trip. From being able to take a road trip with my classmates and enjoy the views, to visiting all the many museums and monuments in Washington D.C. I learned so much about our American History while being on the trip. While on the trip, there were so many hands-on experiences which will never be forgotten.

This trip also taught me how to live in a shared space at a young age with 3 other roommates. It taught me about being a leader and how to be independent. It was an overall Funtastic experience! Please continue to donate to the NEF organization so students in the future will be able to attend Novi’s AMAZING 8th Grade Trip!

Regards,

Novi Middle School 8th Grader

Mrs. Rodriguez was awarded a NEF Classroom grant for new books, thanks to donors.

"New books build excitement and help foster a strong reading culture in the classroom. When these new books arrived each day, there was a noticeable buzz in the room. Thank you for supporting and encouraging a love of reading.

Having students in Tier 2 groups read the same book at the same time also promotes natural collaboration and creates a more inclusive reading environment. This guided reading structure allows me to provide targeted, small-group instruction in a way that feels both positive and engaging." Mrs. Rodriguez, Novi Meadows

Thank you for making a difference for our students!
