Som**hing new is coming out of the Sarah Kolis studio!!! It started with a pink gingham skirt, a trip to Palm Beach, and a little inspiration from the delightfully girly Colony Hotel.
Introducing Made to Order by Sarah Kolis—a small collection of fun, non-bridal pieces, made right here in Northville, Michigan.
Sarah has offered several favorite looks as semi-custom sewing patterns for years, but this is a little different: you can now purchase the finished garment, made to order by Sarah herself. No sewing machine required.
And even more fun, we’re starting with one look at a time. Individual. Intentional. A little unexpected!
First up: the Pink Gingham Skirt: Made from 100% silk shantung and sewn ethically in our Northville studio, it features:
• A long, full length
• Belt loops + bow belt
• Pockets (of course!)
• No lining
• Made to order according to your waist measurement

Palm Beach days 3 and 4! Heading home now!
I was having such an enjoyable time these days that I got a little behind on posting! But we heard from some fabulous speakers and connected with many other business owners.
I also met a fellow Michigander allie provost !
I made my jumpsuit! And the black dress and the skirt at the end! I love making my own clothes for events like this because I feel that my personal style really meshes well with southern style. These ladies are fashionistas! I love trying to keep up!!!
Overall, I feel so inspired by all these women and can’t wait to implement all the new ideas I developed for my own business!

Anna’s pick up appointment!!!! Anna works at Becker’s Bridal so it’s only fitting she chooses the absolute most fun gorgeous gown there!
The energy of Anna at this fitting is the energy I want all brides to feel 😂 She is so happy, excited, and genuinely wanting to have fun! That’s what it is all about!!!
Also Anna, your dance moves are perfection and I hope your real 1st dance looked just as good!! 😂👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I heard Adrianne tell this story so many times on her wedding day morning, and that was BEFORE she even saw all her wedding guests. Wow am I proud that I was such a critical part of this story. Adrianne was so proud of this whole story and I could literally tear up thinking about how proud I am that I was a part of it 🥹
Also at one point she told the story and after looked at my and said “Sarah what if someday my future daughter wears this and we bring it to you to alter again” like I wanted to faint on the floor, I would just die if that happened, what a beautiful world that would be! See you in a couple of decades Adrianne! 👋🏼🥹🥰😳🫠 (I hope I actually see you much sooner though 😂)
Overall vibe of this wedding was top tier and the genuine vintage gown really added to it all!
