We’re excited to welcome Cooper Johnson to the team as our newest Project Engineer Intern! He is pursuing his Business degree at Hope College.

From day one, Cooper jumped into Pier Park, soaking up real-world experience and making a meaningful impact alongside Mason, Alfredo, Dante, Chad, Craig, and Vic. Not only is he learning how to review plans and specifications, perform takeoffs, create submittals, and understand the estimating process while gaining exposure to both field operations and project management, but he’s also having a blast interning with us and embracing the opportunities to grow. DSP Constructors recently attended the Macomb/St. Clair 2026 Blue Water Building Trades Career Fair. We had a blast inspiring the next generation through hands-on learning and showcasing the incredible opportunities in construction. From testing out tools to exploring potential career paths, we are able to help young minds discover how dynamic, innovative, and fulfilling a future in construction can be. We were grateful for the chance to ignite students' curiosity and can’t wait to see future generations thrive in our industry!

DSP Constructors was thrilled to collaborate with the BAC Trowel Trades Apprentice School Field in pouring cement at Schoolcraft College—a hands-on project that supports both practical, paid on-the-job training and comprehensive classroom instruction. This initiative is designed to equip students with the skills they need to graduate and thrive in their careers. Being part of this impactful program was not only a rewarding experience but also a proud moment for our team as we contributed to shaping the future of skilled trades education.
