Had a walk-in late Saturday that was an experience! Her first tattoo, for her grandma, who died on that day. We got through it! A dainty snowdrop flower on her right shoulder. Glad I could do it for her on such an important date. 🙏🙏 And in case her brother reads this, yes bro, she didn't even flinch. 😊

My man William walks in to the shop and says, I need this name GONE. Hey, I gotcha - with what? "I'm your huckleberry" - well.... a little western lettering and some shading out, BYE FELICIA! 😂 (if you didnt get the joke, google it). Thanks for the confidence bro, that name is GONE.

Todd and Molly, thanks for dropping in! Always a fun time when Todd is involved :-) So, here is a history lesson, they both got an ancient language called Riggans. So "AIYDIWDWY" went down Todd's right leg shin, and Molly Got "AIYGIWGWY" - pronounce those! Did you try?? Ok - I may have made that all up 😂 -- its from a System of a Down Song, Lonely Day. "And if you go I wanna go with you" and "And if you die I wanna die with you". 🔥

Then Todd went to the tattoo jeweler and picked up a permanent wedding band. MMVI was the year married 🥰 added that miniature knotwork to make it look official 🔥🔥🔥

Geometric Owl!! ! So, I did not do ANY of the original tattoos, and we didn't touch any of them except the coverup - and I added shading in shades of gray around everything to kind of bring his patchwork sleeve together. So, he had the THC molecules, and wanted it covered for work - so I blasted that owl right over top and incorporated everything in for him - now, I may be obsessed with these geometric animals.... might need to do more! This is 🔥🔥

This is all we got done today, short day for me for a Saturday! 😎 Thanks Sarah for trusting me with your artwork! We will be wrapping the "watercolor-esk" ferns around her arm, and adding 5 total watercolor-esk roses. Watercolor splotches of blue in the background - going to be a fun sleeve to finish!

"Only God Can Judge Me" black and grey flash. Skull praying hands, banner, and those cuffs - its a banger. 🔥 Working on highly saturating black and grey tones for better heals, where the tones stay solid - so I will definitely post a healed picture of this one as well. That background dark tone is actually - "extra light", so when it heals it will be a soft gray..... 🔥🔥 Thanks again Sara for coming to Cryptic Ink!

Thanks Kristen for another meaningful project. More stickers!! So this one has a lot of meaning. The saying "Because I knew you I have been changed" was written by her BF Sharon. Her step kids; Alyssa drew the flower, and Tyler wrote "For Good". I stickerized the flower, added the coloring, and lifted an edge. For the For Good we went with a holographic background, few lifted corners.... small sticker! 🔥 Definitely fun bringing something meaningful together - colors matching Kristen's personality!
