What are Micropoint Links?
They are extensions for the top of the head, where traditional extensions can’t be worn. They are used to fill in areas that are sparse, adding more fluff and fullness, fill in part lines or bang areas that are thinning.
How do they work?
There are 4 strands on a knot. The growing hair strand is separated and the loop of the knot slips onto the hair strand and then tightened. There is no tape or adhesive used.
How long do they last?
For best results it is recommended to receive a full service and then return to the salon every 4-6 weeks for a partial touch up. The links will fall out on their own as the growing hair they are attached to sheds. The links cannot be reused.
Won’t they be heavy or pull my hair?
No! The links are actually a high heat resistant synthetic fiber that is lighter than the weight of the individual hair strand. They can still be washed and styled with heat tools just like regular hair!
