Our Silkie/Bantam chicks have officially hatched and will be available for adoption soon! 🐥✨
These fluffy little cuties are being lovingly cared for by our NPHS Work Study program and will soon be ready to find their forever homes.

Our NPHS Work Study family is so excited to have a new batch of hatching eggs in the incubator! 💛 We are incredibly thankful for your generosity and support of our students and program.
Now comes the hard part... waiting! ⏳🐥 We can't wait to see what these adorable little fluff balls look like when they hatch! Will they be colorful? Frizzled? Fancy-feathered? 🥰✨

Bock bock bock... Is this thing on? 🎤🐓
We'd like to take a moment to talk about our Mother Hen, Mrs. Uecker. 🐔❤️
You see, every time someone walks by our coop, she starts bragging about our eggs...
💚 "Look at the beautiful green ones!" 🤎 "Have you seen the chocolate brown eggs?" 🤍 "Look how perfect this cream-colored egg is!" 💙 "Wait until you see the blue ones!"
Honestly, we're starting to think she's more excited about our eggs than we are. 😆🥚🌈
But while she's busy showing off our colorful masterpieces, our smaller humans (the NPHS Work Study students) have been hard at work learning all kinds of amazing skills! 💪🐝🌻
🐔 Caring for us chickens 🐝 Learning about bees and pollinators 🌱 Growing plants and vegetables 🕯️ Creating products for the market 💰 Practicing customer service and business skills ❤️ Building confidence and independence every day
We may provide the eggs, but the students are the real stars of this flock! ⭐

The bees will still be buzzing hard at work making sweet honey magic 🍯✨
This is our VERY FIRST summer on campus, and we’re excited to see what adventures happen along the way! 🌿☀️🐝🐓

“Guess what?! We packed our tiny feather suitcases and officially found our NEW HOME with the AMAZING Shurley family!! 💛🐣
We are SO excited to start our next adventure filled with snacks, sunshine, cuddles, and lots of chicken gossip 😆🌞🌱
Thank you to the Shurley family for giving us a loving flock to grow up in and for supporting our NPHS Work Study students along the way! 💙🐥
Every adoption helps our students learn important life, work, and community skills while helping little fluffballs like us find wonderful families 🥹🐣

🐝✨ BUZZZZZ ALERT FROM THE NPHS WORK STUDY APIARY ✨🐝
“Excuse us… did someone order the cutest little bee yard in town?!” 🌼🍯🐝
Our Queen Bee 👑 Ms. Shannon has been hard at work with our amazing friends from Peace River Beekeeping creating the sweetest setup for our buzzing students and bees alike! 💛
The bees would like everyone to know:
🐝 Yes… the colorful houses are OURS
🐝 Yes… we are VERY important pollinators
🐝 And yes… we have a full-time human staff that brings snacks, checks our homes, and talks to us like tiny royalty 😂
Meanwhile Ms. Shannon is over here making sure every hive is bee-utiful, safe, thriving, and educational for our NPHS Work Study students! 🌿📚🐝
Thanks to Peace River Bee Club our students are learning:
