DeadStrings

DeadStrings is a husband and wife grunge / rock / 90s alternative duo from Normal IL. Caleb is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and sound engineer originally from Eaton Indiana, while Susan is a classically trained pianist who performed on TV many times, and reached level 10 in piano performance in Fu Yang, Anhui (China) before she moved to the United States to finish her masters degree in Architecture. Before founding DeadStrings, Caleb lived in Nashville TN and produced and recorded his first band's self titled album "MODOC" whose songs went on to appear on "FOX Sports", the hit Netflix show "Shameless", and other TV and video game placements. He would later tour with country singer/songwriter Corey Cox and appeared in his music videos, and other promo material as well as mixing and mastering 3 of his singles. DeadStrings hit the scene with their first album "Halves" and later released a deluxe edition containing live versions of the entire album, along with alt versions, demos and unfinished works. Their new album is scheduled for release later in 2025 with their first single "Again" (an Alice in Chains cover) dropping in early 2025!
