There is finally enough light at our buoy location for us to get daily pictures again. Yikes! Now we can see that the buoy is precariously situated at the edge of a recently iced over lead. Fingers crossed that it doesn't get squashed. Location 76N, 164.6W

Here's a snap from last year's buoy deployment on the sea ice about 150km north of Prudhoe. We are busy gearing up for our 2018 deployment, stay tuned.
