🚁 NFR C-Shift took training to new heights yesterday by working with Sentara Nightingale on establishing landing zones and overall helicopter operations.
🚒 West Ocean View Fire Station 13 has unique response challenges, where serious incidents such as technical rescues, mass casualty events, or crashes along the HRBT can lead to extended transport times to regional trauma centers. Today’s hands-on training helps ensure our crews are ready when air medical transport is needed most.
A special thank you to Oceanair Elementary, the entire Nightingale team, and NFR’s own Paramedic Nathan Graham—who also serves as a flight medic—for helping make this valuable training possible.
Prepared. Trained. Ready. 👏
