Tanya Rollins Shadley, Founder and Executive Director of and CEO of brings over 30 years of experience in the performing arts, leadership, and community engagement. As a visionary leader, Tanya is responsible for the strategic direction, overseeing all programs, and ensuring that the TRS Empire continues to fulfill its mission of empowering and healing through the arts.

Melina Llames is a Norfolk native. A graduate of William & Mary, double-majoring in Theatre and
Film & Media Studies, she earned various awards and accolades during her undergraduate
studies. She has since worked on many other shows in the area, both on and offstage. Melina
was last seen in LTN’s production of As You Like It as a member of the Ensemble, with other
recent performance credits including Texas in Cabaret and Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors at
the Williamsburg Players, Jenny in Company at William & Mary, and Follies Girl in Crazy For
You at LTVB. She will be seen onstage next in In The Heights at LTN. Recent design and
technical credits include Costume Designer for The Skriker, How I Learned to Drive, and the
original work, EPILOGI, at William & Mary, and set dressing for Fun Home at Dominion Stage in
Arlington. She deeply thanks her support network and hopes you enjoy the show!

Ryan Simone is a passionate and versatile vocalist, songwriter, actor, and vocal arranger known throughout the Hampton Roads music scene for her powerful voice, impressive vocal range, and captivating stage presence. A lifelong performer, Ryan began acting at the age of six and has appeared in numerous theatrical productions over the years. With years of experience performing with several bands across the region, she is known for delivering soulful, high-energy performances that connect deeply with audiences. In addition to performing, Ryan has also contributed to local high school theater productions as a vocal arranger, helping guide performers through harmonies, vocal
coaching, and musical direction.

Brianna Tyson goes by Bri and is a native of Virginia Beach, Va. She is an award winning
actress and trained thespian. She’s been a part of the company Passageway Productions for
over 8 years. Starring in shows such as The Master’s Pieces (2018), How You Do Love (2022),
The Touched One’s (2024), and Undivided (2025).
Also, as a part of Moth Productions she starred as Aunt Terri in the Virginia Black Film Festival
Winning Stage Play, Sins of A Father(2025).
She is a Mary Kay beauty consultant and makeup artist. Currently, she is planning the launching
of her podcast “Beautifully Spoken; Honestly Said” where she discusses the journey of the
Black millennial entrepreneur and parent in addition to living a purpose driven life in faith.

Ayesha Whitley Bonner is a 43yo mother of three amazing kids. Ayesha has been in the
production and performing industry for over 3 decades. Ayesha is known for being multitalented
with singing in church as well as with Patrick Riddick and Dvyne Worship. She dances with
Dance Dimensions. She’s an educator, actress, model and comedian amongst her friends and
family. Ayesha is a firm believer that “with God all things are possible” and strives everyday to
be greate
