Police Unity Tour VIII

The primary purpose of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty.
The secondary purpose is to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial and Museum.
Detective Rick Salcedo is riding for Specialist Sarah Beckstrom. She was one of the two West Virginia National Guardsmen who were fatally shot near the Farragut Square Metro Station in Washington D.C. on November 26, 2025.
Det. Salcedo is riding from the University of Central Florida Police Department.

Big congratulations to Melissa “Missy” Guadagnino on her promotion to Corporal! 🎉👏
For 12 years, Missy has been an incredible asset to UCFPD—nine of those as a Detective, where she’s made a major impact on high-profile investigations and forensic cases. With her therapy dog, Chipper 🐾, she’s also provided comfort and support to victims when they needed it most.
She’s also:
🚨 Served on the Emergency Response Team for dozens of deployments
👩🏫 Taught crisis intervention and patrol investigator programs locally and nationally
🚴♀️ Completed the Police Unity Tour four times
Missy’s compassion, leadership, and investigative expertise will shine in her new role in Community Outreach and Crime Prevention starting in the new year.
