A little over 2 years ago I started a new career as Operations Manager at . I’m so proud at how much this little camera rental store has grown. I think all of us local creatives can say we are pretty lucky to have such a cool spot to turn to whether it be to rent out some extra gear, learn new things or just be able to have creative conversation with like minded people. Because of DLR, I was able to make my photography business grow “next level” and will always owe it to Nick and this store for where it all started. I’m so excited to be a part of DLR’s family and growth and so happy we are finally moving on to our very own store front location here in Norfolk, VA.

My brother from the Myspace / local music scene days Jared Dessuit stopped by to grab some gear from yesterday. Took him out in our light diffused hallway at the Arcade to show him some different lenses to try. It was a good time sharing knowledge and catching up. It’s always fun sharing stories about Relative Theory record days and that one time Jacob Holland ran around on stage for a Jared’s show. Miss you being here Jacob but we understand you livin it up in Georgia.
