I want to believe that the Painbow Awards are judged by disgruntled graphic designers.

I'm so proud to present the newly launched website that I built with the wonderful Emily Elgin! Hooked on Hope VB provides fishing and outdoor fun for families dealing with pediatric cancer. It's a much-needed escape from everyday stress, as well as a fun family memory, and I'm so happy to be able to help them promote this fabulous nonprofit!

A London couple's cat got so needy and clingy when they both started working from home that they made a fake human lap to keep her out of their way so they could work. It's Christmas in February! Because I procrastinate my own self-promotion! But no more: Here's another fave from 2019 - the event poster for Historic Port Norfolk's holiday home tour. I'd done a poster for this event in the past with a vintage, historic look and feel, but this time the client requested to switch it up to "something brighter and colorful" for a change of pace. I'd say it's bright and colorful.

Another favorite project from last year: I'm in love with this Community Impact Report for Eggleston Services. I worked with Mary McChesney Toohey to turn endless lists of numbers into visuals that convey Eggleston's many accomplishments in the community in a much more engaging and fun way than the spreadsheets we started with. No offense to spreadsheets, but...you know...they're spreadsheets.
"Oh, you need to get some work done today? That is such a coincidence, because I specifically don't care about you getting any work done." - 's internal monologue, I imagine.

My business : put as much effort into my own website and self-promotion as I put into client work. So now that it's February, here's a piece from last year - design for Nansemond Brewing Station. This is another project managed by Heartwork Marketing - love them!
