PLAYERS U offers Multi-Sport Camps during school breaks. Camps offer young athletes the opportunity to learn from experienced instructors at our world-class facility. Multi-Sport Camp includes soccer, basketball, baseball, football and more. In addition to each camp's core curriculum, campers participate in other activities around the facility, including goal setting clinics, nutrition presentations, and team building activities.

03:30pm to 05:30pm: Players born 99-2000

General Information


Players receive:
· Professional staff during the work out always educating the players.
· Testing lots of skills, listed below.
· Be able to see how they rate in their age group.
· Place test results on NTIS, Caliendo Sports and location site of the work out web sites.
· Send all the results to our college data base.
· Be looked at for consideration to the summer work outs limited to 30 per work out to try and make the Great Lakes NTIS program.
· Players receive membership with USA Baseball.
· Players will be looked at for Caliendo Sports Teams competing in countries around the world.

Testing:
All our tests are related to your development as a baseball player. Each item listed before has a specific reason for being tested. We will explain to the players and parents why we test for these areas and how you can work on your own to improve each one of these tests.
60 yard dash
· 30 yards
· Bat exit speed
· Agility testing
· Right left quickness drill
· Medicine ball toss, 8 pound ball for everyone.
· Broad jump
· Vertical jump.
· Arm strength tested on flat ground (no pitching from mounds due to the risk factors)
· Evaluation of your hitting.

Players should bring the following gear to participate:
* White or Grey Pants
* Belt & Socks
* Glove
* Batting Helmet
* Baseball Bat
* Protective Cup
* Catchers should bring their own catching gear

Recently one of our players, Daniel Hyde, was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Danny is a senior at Notre Dame
College Prep and plays for our 18U Illinois Indians travel team.

At our recent board meeting the 15 members in attendance unanimously decided to send Danny on a once in a lifetime
trip so that he can get away from it all for a day. This weekend he will be traveling to Detroit to attend a World Series
game.

We are kindly asking for donations to help support this trip. Understanding that times are tough for many, we will also
be holding a couple different fundraising events in the coming months.

The Indians will be going to Phoenix/Scottsdale over the MLK Day Holiday - Jan 19-21.

There is a Perfect Game event, and also a Triple Crown event the same weekend. So playing time will not be an issue and the trip is open to all!

REGISTRATION The Illinois Indians is an elite travel baseball organization comprised of teams ages 10U - 18U based in suburban Chicago, Illinois.

Notre Dame College Prep in Niles welcomes any grade school boy and his family to attend Open House #1 on Sunday, October 14 from 11 am to 2 pm. Each student and his family will receive personal tour from a current Notre Dame student. Notre Dame is a college preparatory high school for over 800 young men.

Located on 28 acres at 7655 West Dempster Street in Niles, Illinois, Notre Dame's instructional programs have distinct levels of challenge: Advanced Placement, Honors, College Prep Core, and the Andre Program for students needed learning assistance. Each level is geared to prepare students for college admission. The Burke Scholars Program is for students with mild cognitive disabilities. A wide range of activities and sports programs are also available.

The school's mission is to offer an education of faith, scholarship and service.
