So happy that I get to share my newest session with such an exciting announcement! Last week I shared photos of my older sister's kids and this week I get to share a session for my younger sister and her family...which will be expanding in February! I had the opportunity to take photos for my other sister this weekend...along with a special announcement! Baby #2 will be here in February! Congratulation to my sister, brother-in-law, and nephew Grant!

It has been almost a year since I posted any recent photos! I have taken my break and we are settled into our new home, so I figured maybe it is time to get back to work! Here are a few of my little girl at golden hour during wheat harvest :)

To all my page fans...many of you know that last month my family and I moved from Iowa to Kansas, but some of you may not have been made aware...for that, I apologize! I am so thankful for all of you who have been faithful clients and came to me over the years for your photos. I am also thankful for all who have supported me by being a fan of my page :) The transition of moving to Kansas has been successful so far and though it can be difficult to re-build a business where you don't know anyone, I am blessed to have been given my first opportunity in our new area! Thanks to my sister, Amanda, I am currently taking business photos for her place of work, Heartland Cardiology, and the website she is working to create for them. It is a new direction of photography I have never done before, so I am grateful that she thought of me for this project! I am learning more about photography by doing this, and I am loving it! Thanks to you all again, and please continue checking my page to see what I am up to!

Everything about this day was lovely...the couple, the location, and their family! This was my first wedding shooting by myself and I'm so glad it was for Phil and Janet! Everyone was so laid back and easy-going...definitely made things easy for me! Thank you for trusting me with such a special day!
