An original song of mine, Jug River, brought to life in a band setting for the first time with Mickey & The Learicists. Written back in 2012 in Binghamton, NY after an interaction I had with someone less fortunate than myself on my porch. Grateful to Pierce and Jeremy for helping me bring the recording I made all those years ago to life at our recent show. Hope you enjoy

Proud to say that I’ll be the first musician that has ever booked to play there this Friday evening. This is a new annex location of a place up in Hudson that I play often, and I’m a big fan of these folks. Come out and help me set them on their musical journey the right way.

Right near the Kingston waterfront, this new location is in a great part of town that I used to deliver to while working as an Amazon delivery driver. So this will be a powerful full-circle moment for me, pulling up to those same streets to do the thing that I love and delivering a very different kind of service this time. Fun fact: the company I worked for when delivering doesn’t exist anymore 😉. It’s not an easy job, and being raised by a postal delivery worker, I will always have respect for those doing it.

Next is the triumphant return of Catawampus to Newburgh Brewing Company on Saturday from 6-9. We’ve got some special new songs lined up for this one 😉

Then we close it out with a very special Venue Debut at for Mother’s Day! From 3-6pm I’ll be serenading and reminiscing with some music for all the life givers and nurturers out there. Such a cool way to play a first show at a new venue, I’m excited.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to see the first ever show of Mickey & The Learicists this weekend at Parkview House! It was not a day I will soon forget. It means so much that you all came out and supported this new endeavor, more than I can say. And thank you to Parkview for having us!
