You’ll never hit a ball hard consistently if… 😉

Your “load” is just you going down into your quads and then leaking forward.

Comment “HIP” and I’ll send you the full breakdown I use to teach a true glute load + positive move 🎁

If you want more power, a cleaner stride, and a swing that doesn’t drift…

How you load matters.

Most hitters “load”… but their hips never actually load.

Try this band-tension launch drill to feel your hip load FIRST—without drifting or spinning out.

How to do it:
Start in your launch position with the band stretched (tension on from the start).
Stay squared to the pitcher.
Load the hip first, then swing.
Keep pressure into the ground and keep space between your legs to maintain tension.

Why it works:
The band gives instant feedback.
If you push/drift, you’ll lose tension.
If you spin, it’ll feel awkward on that back leg.

This year so far has given me more than memories — it’s given me perspective.

I’ve been reminded (over and over) that family is everything, and that the friends you choose to spend your time with will either pull the best out of you… or slowly take it away.

It’s also been my first year getting to watch both of my boys, Cameron and Cody, play baseball — and I can honestly say I’ve grown through this season as a father and husband more than I expected. Watching them compete, learn, fail, respond, and keep showing up has been one of the biggest gifts.

And to my players — I want you to know this too: I’ve learned from you. Your work ethic, your honesty, your resilience, your energy… it’s shaped me this year so far.

These are the things that make me better — not just as a coach, but as a person.

Grateful for the memories. Grateful for my people. Grateful for the growth.

Four hitting drills that you will need during this summer season:

1. Choke up swing (swing path): Let the ball travel and stay through it.
2. Bat foot elevated (lower half): Stay strong with your front side without spinning or pushing off the ground.
3. Yoga band (load): Practice your coil from your launch position and let the hips load before exploding.
4. Walking rapid toss (timing): Practice with your timing and direction at the same time by organizing your body while you move forward, timing the ball off the hand.

Follow if you want to play college baseball without adding any extra hours to your busy schedule

Comment “SUMMER” and I’ll send you the info.

If your kid wants to actually get better this summer (not just “show up” to another camp)… read this.

Most players spend June + July doing a bunch of random reps and hope it magically translates to games.

But the biggest separator is simple:

a plan + high-quality reps + real coaching in a competitive environment.

That’s exactly what we’re doing in our 5-day Summer Camps (Mon–Fri, 8:00–2:30) with only 15 players per week. Rain or shine (rain plan = cages).

We’ve got two options:

Small Field Camp (Ages 10–12): all-around development + confidence

Big Field Camp (Ages 13+): big-field speed reps + competition

If you want the weekly dates + pricing + what to bring + how registration works…

Comment “SUMMER” and I’ll send you the info.

Daily feedback beats weekly fixes (for long-term hitting growth)

My players inside of Carga Baseball don’t guess, they get this level of feedback daily so they know what to do even before their baseball practice, which leads to faster development without adding any extra time into their current schedule.

Comment "COLLEGE" if you're serious about taking your game to the next level. Save time in the process and guarantee results within 60 days.

Your son is not falling behind because he lacks talent.
He is falling behind because his development stops the moment his schedule gets busy.
And during the season?

❌ No time for lessons
❌ No time to drive 45 minutes to a facility
❌ No time to block out 2–3 hours for a session

So development gets put on pause.
And the recruiting window keeps closing.

Here’s the truth nobody in the baseball world wants to admit:
The traditional in-person training model was never built for the busy high school athlete.
It was built for a different era.
Development doesn’t require more time.
It requires a better system.

Here’s what that looks like in real life 👉
One of my players improved his exit velocity by 8 mph in 12 weeks
During his high school season.
No extra lessons.
No missed practices.
No driving across town after a 3-hour practice.
Just a smarter system applied consistently.
Less than 20 minutes added to his week.
That is what remote training does.
And it works because it fits inside the schedule your son already has — not around it.

Here’s exactly what busy players get with remote coaching:
✅ Consistent development — even during the season
✅ Video feedback on their schedule — not a coach’s calendar
✅ Data-tracked progress that college coaches can actually see
✅ The self-coaching skills that get athletes recruited
The players who are getting recruited right now didn’t find more time.
They found a better system.

Don't skip this part of your swing if you want to be consistent at the plate.

Most families don’t find out about NCAA recruiting rules until it’s too late.
And by the time they do?
Coaches already have their recruiting classes filling up.
Your son has no skills video.
No verified metrics.
No relationships built.
The window is closing — and most families don’t even know it.
Here’s the truth nobody tells you:
D1 coaches cannot contact your son until August 1 of his Junior Year.
But your son can contact coaches right now.
Freshman Year. Sophomore Year. Today.
The families who understand the rules are the ones who win the recruiting game. Swipe through to see exactly what you need to know before Junior Year 👉
Here’s what’s inside:
✅ The D1 rule that changes everything
✅ Official vs unofficial visits — know the difference before you book a trip
✅ The 2025–26 Dead Period dates you MUST avoid
✅ D2, D3 and NAIA rules broken down simply
✅ The complete recruiting timeline cheat sheet by grade
✅ The #1 mistake families make — and how to avoid it
✅ Exactly what your son should be doing RIGHT NOW
Less than 2% of high school baseball players make it to D1.
The ones who do didn’t get lucky.
They had a plan. They started early. They were proactive.
Structure wins. Hope doesn’t.
