Yesterday was awesome!! Organized and sorted North Newark Move's stockpile with RoseMarie Gasparinetti Piperato, Melinda Velez and a motivated crew of volunteers, I mean MOVERS items ready to deliver for victims of the Garside fire... Also delivered school supplies to a family, and a bunch more to our friends at Ironbound Community Center via Lisette Esteves Lagoa Plus, I got to meet the lady we hooked up with that fridge a few weeks ago. Best. Hug. Ever.

There was a fire in the North Ward last night. Urgent: we need 4 BEDS!!! And nonperishable FOOD!!! We also need a sofa and kitchen table!!! Contact 201.747.0640

We have families in URGENT need due to a fire in the North Ward last night, they lost EVERYTHING.... One of the victims was working for Sandy Relief efforts at the time of the fire. We are collecting, you can drop off at 1 Lincoln Ave., Newark Police Dept. Office of Clergy Affairs between 10am-5pm... If you need pick-up we will coordinate with you.. ITEMS NEEDED, for now are as follows:

- Girls clothing 4T, 9 1/2 shoe
- Boys clothing medium, size 3 shoe
- Youth Girl and Womens clothing sizes Small through XL, shoe sizes 8-10
- Mens clothing size Small and 4X, shoes 91/2 and 13 1/2

We will also accept non-perishable food.
