✨ Service ✨

For each title holder in the Miss America system the service point of the crown looks a little different. We each choose a cause close to our hearts that we spend our year of service advocating for. However, we are all united in one mission: to better the world around us.

During my time as Miss Delaware I have advocated for many causes from inclusive education, autism awareness and acceptance, environmental stewardship, and the importance of mentorship for youth.

But my biggest mission has always been to inspire and empower the next generation of female innovators within STEM.

But why?

I advocate for the 11.2% of the construction workforce made up of women.

For the 4% of women actively working on construction sites.

For the women who make up 13% of the global engineering workforce.

For every woman who feels underrepresented.

Because I wanted to become the role model I once needed.

100 appearances, unlimited memories

✨ 100 Appearances ✨

When I first was crowned Miss Delaware I made a goal for myself to complete 100 appearances during my year of service. And that the time, this seemed like an easily obtainable goal. However, I forgot that in addition to being Miss Delaware I was also a full time engineering student, employee, and human with life to handle all at the same time.

So to say that reaching 100 appearances this past weekend, prior to my year being over, was exciting would be an understatement.

It was an honor. To have attended so many appearances that I recognize my new friends from across the state at multiple events has been the highlight of my year. I am so thankful for each and every appearance, the people I have been connected with, and the opportunities I have had.

But we aren’t done yet. Delaware I’m more than ready to make these last 20 days as your Miss the best yet!
