Our “It Takes a Village” Community Baby Shower is almost here, and we are so excited about what’s in store for families in our community!

We have been working hard to prepare an amazing event filled with support, resources, giveaways, baby essentials, and so much more for parents and families. Thanks to the generosity of our community partners and supporters, we have a large number of items that will be given away during the event, and we truly want these resources to reach the families who need them most. If you have been thinking about attending, now is the time to register. We would love for you and your family to be part of this special day of community, encouragement, and support. The event will include baby items, diapers, wipes, family resources, giveaways, food, and opportunities to connect with organizations and people who care about supporting families.

The Center for Child Development | Newark, Delaware Delaware's largest school-based mental health provider. Compassionate therapy for children, teens, and families — EMDR, play therapy, and anxiety treatment.

We are excited to welcome several community partners to our upcoming “It Takes a Village” Community Baby Shower hosted by The Center for Child Development on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

This free event is designed to connect families with valuable resources and provide access to essential baby items including diapers, clothing, toys, and formula while supplies last.
