The Education & Workforce program at the Isaacs Center is doing its very first HBCU tour! Staff took an assortment of participants and alumni to seven different schools to learn more about the programs and educational opportunities available.

Our team went to the National College Attainment Network Leadership Summit in DC today! As part of the day’s events, they visited Rep. Jerry Nadler’s office. is a movement co-led by young people and education professionals, working to expand access to higher education across NYC. National College Attainment Network (NCAN)

📣No more partial justice for essential work! We call on our leaders in Albany to human services workers wages that keep up with inflation, while also committing to true wage equity.

The first step is clear: Governor Kathy Hochul must align with the Legislature and include a 4% investment or more for all human services programs in this year’s budget. Next, we need policies that support long-term pay parity for the 800,000 human services workers who strengthen New York everyday.
