Play Rugby USA

Fall season competition kicks off this weekend! We're excited to see all of our student-athletes out there, demonstrating everything we've been working on since the beginning of September. 🙌

Thank you for everyone who supported our 2026 Golf Day last week! It was a tremendous event...our best yet. The community really came together to Get There for the 2,600 young people we serve throughout NYC. It's been incredible to see how much this event has grown over the years and we are so grateful for everyone who played a part!

✅ 26 Teams
✅ 104 Golfers (and 🥇 Bryan Habana)
✅ $150,000 raised

Only 2 weeks to go before the 2026 Play Rugby Golf Day! ⛳️ We're so excited to return to the beautiful Saint Andrew's Golf Club in Hastings-on-Hudson this year, raising critical funds to support over 2,500 NYC youth!

Thank you to our generous sponsors for helping to make this event possible!

Our Summer in Review ⭐

Our Middle Schoolers had a great summer with practices twice a week and clinics on the weekends. It was a great chance for newer players to learn the sport and, with our High Schoolers practicing at the same time, to see where the game will take them in the future 💪

Our Summer in Review ⭐

Our High School Girls' team had a great summer preparing for the upcoming fall season! From welcoming new faces to saying goodbye to our graduating seniors, this summer allowed our Girls' team to hone their skills 🏉

A few members of the team also had the chance to attend the Leinster Rugby camp at Syracuse University 🍊

Our Summer in Review ☀️

Our HS Boys team had an incredible summer:
🌟 Shellshock 7s
🍊 Leinster Rugby camp at Syracuse University
☘️ A few lucky student-athletes traveled to Ireland and were hosted by Munster Rugby at the School of Excellence
🏉 Summer ended with a fun intrasquad scrimmage

Thanks to everyone who helped make it happen!

More than just rugby 💪

Last week, Play Rugby USA and Elysium Rugby co-hosted a networking event, where alumni had the opportunity to connect with other young professionals in New York City. This reminded us all that the rugby community extends far beyond the sport itself!

If you're an alumnus and didn't receive an invitation, we need your updated contact information! You can share it with us here: https://bit.ly/4zg25wC

Vintage Rugby 🏉

On Saturday, our High School Boy's Team had a intersquad scrimmage to celebrate the end of the summer season.

Our Final Senior is 🥁🥁🥁

Genesis, who will be attending The City College of New York this fall 🥳🥳

Congratulations, Genesis! We can't wait to see all that you'll achieve.
