First of 2 service calls on this Memorial Day holiday. No cool complaint on an old R22 unit up in Mahopac, NY. Upon checking pressures, I saw the unit was completely flat. Previous company didn’t even want to touch it after reporting the same. Customer approved a leak test and when I put 300lbs of nitrogen in the system, I performed a tightness test for 30 mins. Lost about 3lbs. Checked the indoor unit and found the leak on the coil. I doubt I’ll find a replacement coil for a 25 year old system. Unfortunately for the customer, it’s lookin like a full replacement. At least it’ll boost the value of their property a bit. **we do not own the rights to this song.
