We collect gently used, clean women’s clothing sizes 0–30+, shoes, handbags, accessories, pajamas, business attire, casual wear, sweaters, special occasion & holiday clothing and more!

This past weekend, Empowerment of Hope was given the opportunity to help give someone’s loved one’s belongings a second life. 💕

One of our amazing volunteers referred a family to us after they experienced the loss of a loved one. We were invited into their home to help clean out her closet and carefully collect the clothing and items they wished to donate.

We know that parting with a loved one’s belongings can be incredibly difficult. We are truly honored that, during such a tender time, this family thought of Empowerment of Hope and trusted us to take care of the things that once belonged to someone they loved.

We paid our respects, listened to their stories, and most importantly, gave them peace of mind knowing these items would be treated with care, not simply packed away or discarded, but given a second life.

Soon, her clothing will find its way into the hands of other women in our community, where it can be worn again, loved again, and perhaps even help someone feel confident and beautiful during a new chapter of her own life.

Sometimes giving back looks like more than a donation. Sometimes it’s allowing a piece of someone you love to continue making a difference. ❤️
