We have partnered with Kona Ice this year to have them on campus once a month as a fundraiser for our school. Our next Kona Ice Day will be this Friday, October 2nd. Kona Ice will be on campus during all lunches, from 11:00-1:15 and students will enjoy their treat during their recess time. You MUST pre-pay for your order by 11:00pm the night before. Unfortunately, they CANNOT accept any orders after that time and orders WILL NOT be accepted the day of the event. You can order by scanning the QR code on the attached flyer. Pasco Learning and Activity Centers of Enrichment (PLACE) is a school-age before and after school activity program operated by the District School Board of Pasco County. PLACE is designed to provide an active and enriching environment for children who must arrive at school early, stay late- or both! Participation is limited to elementary school children, in kindergarten through 5th grade.

A child may be enrolled in the PLACE program if he/she is:
Able to be independent in daily self care needs, such as toileting, feeding, dressing self.
No danger to self or others.
Able to participate in large group activities with an adult/child ratio of 1 adult to 25 children.
Able to remain within program location and under adult supervision without running away.

One more reminder for our Title I Open House tonight, September 10th. Primary classrooms (K-2) will be open from 5:00-5:30 and intermediate classrooms (3-5) will be open from 5:45-6:15, with transition time in between. The book fair will also be open in the media from 5:00-7:00, with a last call for books at 6:45. Keep in mind that this is not a parent conference night, but teachers will have sign-ups available for you to schedule a parent ocnference if you would like to do so for a later date. We hope to see you tonight!
