What an incredible weekend at 727 Raceway!

The 1st Annual Top Gun RC Showdown exceeded every expectation and proved why Florida has some of the fastest and most dedicated racers in the country. The event brought together some of FL's top talent, fierce competition, great sportsmanship, and an amazing day from start to finish.

With over 50% chance or rain. We still manage to get 120+ entries.

A huge thank you to every racer, sponsor, volunteer, family member, and spectator who came out and helped make this event a success.

As we all know mother nature put us to work day and night to get ready and not enough words to say thank you to all who came out and helped Joey Perez get this track ready for battle!!! I promise you between him and the guys we worked our tails off to make this event happen.The pits were packed, the racing was intense, and the support from the RC community was unbelievable.

I wanna give a shout out also to our race director Phil Iorio you did an outstanding job with 120+ entries and even with 2 little hiccups we had do to people turning on air compressors you knocked it out the park!!! Also thank you Shaun Mann for your help as well💪

Wanna give a huge shout out to the man the myth the legend Ronnie Setser for coming out and painting our front stretch!!!!

Congratulations to all of our podium finishers! 🏁

🏆 Your hard work, preparation, and driving skills earned you a spot at the top against some of the toughest competition around.

With Top Gun Rc Showdown only 7 days away, we wanted to make sure everyone is on the same page for parking and the weekend schedule!

Serving fresh food & drinks all day Saturday!

📅 Friday Schedule 🚪 Gates open: 9:00 AM

🏁 Practice: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM

💲 Practice Fee: $20 per person

🅿️ Overnight parking will be allowed Thursday through Sunday if needed — no problem at all.

📅 Saturday Schedule 🚪 Gates open: 6:00 AM
🔥 Track hot: 7:00 AM – 8:30/9:00 AM depending on entry count

Drivers meeting & race start times will depend on final entry numbers once everything is entered into the system:

• Drivers meeting around 8:45 AM with racing starting 9:00–9:15 AM
OR

• Drivers meeting at 9:00 AM with racing starting 9:30–9:45 AM

Final schedule will be announced once entries are finalized.

Let’s make this the biggest and baddest Rc event in FL with the biggest Cash Payouts and prizes and Trophies for every class.
