Reminder for our monthly meeting this Saturday!!!

New Dynon displays, Avidyne 540 & more were added into one of our EAA members, Chase's, plane!

David S. & Ryan M. did the job and it came out great! Brian H. did the re-fabric and stitching on the instrument pods, epic work!

EAA meeting yesterday went well with CFI Mike giving a presentation on pre-flight and in-flight weather services!

2025 Hidden Lake Spring Picnic and Volunteer Sign-Up

As members of EAA Chapter 791 based at Hidden Lake Airport, we have been invited to attend the Spring picnic at the airport on Saturday, 26 April 2025.

For any members that plan to attend, we are asking for volunteers to 1) help setup before the picnic or 2) help clean up after the picnic or 3) help setup and clean up afterwards. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Volunteers are asked to arrive around 9AM to begin setup and clean up begins immediately after, usually around 3pm or so.

We are excited to invite you to our next EAA Chapter 791 meeting on Saturday, March 8th, 2025, at Hidden Lake Airport. Whether you fly, build, restore, or simply enjoy airplanes and aviation, you are welcome to join us for a morning filled with engaging activities and camaraderie.

Agenda Highlights:

Special Guest Speaker: Craig L. invited a fellow pilot, Mr. Chris Lunt, from Alaska to present us with stories and good information about flying in Alaska. Be sure to arrive early to get a good seat!

Past Meeting Minutes: Prior meeting minutes can be review here. A new window will open displaying all past meeting minutes for the chapter.

Safety Zone: Time permitting following the guest speaker the floor will be open to safety Q&A session.

Special Announcements:

Young Eagle Rally: There are currently no YE rallys scheduled at this time. Reminder, you must have an account on the EAA Young Eagle Day website to fly or volunteer.

Sun 'n Fun: If you are planning to camp at SnF this year, please plan to leave for Lakeland immediately following the meeting to mark off your camping area. This will help ensure to get the best spots!
