Today is June 1st so we all know what that means......the start of the ! Now is the time to start gathering the supplies for your hurricane kit and making your plans so you and your family know where to go or what to do should a storm affect our area. Be sure to download Pasco County's Disaster Preparedness Guide from the City's website at https://www.cityofnewportrichey.org/Residents/Public-Safety/Emergency-Preparedness
On the bright side though, one day down and only 182 more to go until the end of hurricane season!

We are honored to have received a $37,508 grant from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation
https:llwww.facebook.com/FirehouseSubsFoundation/
The funds went directly towards the purchase of Amkus battery-operated extrication tools, fulfilling a critical need within our department. Thank you to Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, our local Firehouse Subs restaurant in New Port Richey and the generous donors who made this possible!

The New Port Richey Fire Department would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support for the grand opening of our new Fire Station No. 2. Attendance at our Community Event was amazing and we hope everyone had as much fun as we had showing off the new station.

Fire Station No. 2 had its official Hose Uncoupling Ceremony earlier today. This project would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of city staff. Thank you to all who attended today, including the City Manager, current and former City Council Members, Retirees, Senator Hooper, and Commissioner Yeager.
The new Fire Station No. 2 represents a significant investment in public safety infrastructure, replacing an aging facility with a modern, efficient space that supports firefighters and emergency personnel in delivering high-quality service.
