My book is published and now available in paperback and ebook on Amazon. This book is a culmination of decades of saying, "I'm going to write a book" and, "I want to be an author." I am well into my second book which is quite different than my first. I have found my passion. I hope it inspires others as a reminder that you're never too old to pursue your dreams.

Double Down Ranch welcomes 6 new additions to our Ranch family. Momma and babies are doing well. We are currently experiencing cuteness overload 🤠

We finally completed our new 60' round pen. It was truly a team effort and we would like to thank Jeff, Mike, Wes, Daniel, Jessica, Kyleal, and our entire barn family. Double Down Ranch is always looking to improve on our outstanding facility.

For the last 9 years, I spent from sun up to sundown pretty darn close to every day with George. He stood by my side no matter what; my best friend, my mentor, my love. I am more than sad that George passed away Saturday. Some say, "You gave him a great life". I say, " He gave me a great life". I know it's been a few days and I guess some figure I am over it. I am NOT over it and don't think I ever will be over it. I thought he would always be by my side. I don't know, I guess I thought we would pass over together or I'd die first. Now, I'm lost. I'm broken. Everything is surreal. Double Down Ranch is not the same without him. I am not the same without him.

Emily drove the tractor today for the first time. She did excellent and seemed to really enjoy it. Now, we're going to put her to work!🤣👏🤠

We are very happy to welcome 3 new additions to the Double Down Ranch family. Princess is a palomino paint and her owner is Suzanne. The grey miniature donkey is Toby and the white miniature is Snowy. Darlene took an amazing selfie with the donkeys. 🤠

30 years,ago, this women said, "I do" to me. Today, she still thinks I am sexy. I know this because every time I walk by, she says, "what an ass"!

He was not a prince, he was a King!

We are deeply saddened to say goodbye to Jaggermonster. He passed last night surrounded by love ones. He was a champion race horse until he was injured and wound up in a horse rescue. My dear friends, the Waldbaums, found him and he came to us here at the Ranch. He was truly loved and respected. We will miss you friend and will see you again in the beautiful pastures you run in now.
