My photo of Silver-throated Tanager from Costa Rica won an Award at C***A ... I think they liked this one !!

I am honored to receive an Award at November C***A photo color dpi competition. I received total of 24 points out of 27. Which means that on average each judge award me 8 out of 9 points. That’s pretty good. Photo taken in Costa Rica. I’ll be heading back in 2027.

There were several Mississippi kites soaring and it was quiet a sight to photograph. One series I captured was that it had caught what looks like a dragonfly in mid-air and it proceeded to eat it as it was flying very high in the sky ....
