Today, I’m excited to present a project that’s been up and running for a while: a real-time, dynamic product book and customer interface for Bourbon On Main. This innovative web project revolutionized how the bar manages and showcases its inventory, enhancing both staff efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key features of this project include:
• Customer-Friendly Interface: Customers can effortlessly search and find drinks or products, tailored to their preferences.
• On-The-Job Updates: Integrated a system for the bar staff to modify the product list directly from a tablet or mobile device, from anytime, anywhere.
• Scannable QR Code: Deployed about 30 laminated, scannable QR codes throughout the bar for ease of access. Ultimately adding the QR code to the menu so nearly everyone is handed a copy.
• Robust Tech Stack: Utilized Angular and Tailwind for a responsive front-end, paired with Go and a Google Spreadsheet for the back-end.
• Reliable Hosting: Deployed on Google Cloud Platform for maximum uptime and performance.

I'm thrilled to announce the deployment of the BRMS Hiring Web Application, a project I've been passionately working on for the past five months. This application is designed to significantly enhance the hiring process at BRMS, offering a blend of efficiency and user-friendliness.
Key aspects of the project:
• Streamlined hiring workflow to improve both speed and user experience.
• Developed a feature for site owners to update job listings in real-time from a local spreadsheet.
• Integrated a secure system for administrators to login, to view and modify the applicant-base.
• Implemented automatic email notifications for new applications and requests, ensuring prompt responses.
• Designed a straightforward and inviting interface for applicants.
• Incorporated Google ReCaptcha to ensure the authenticity of applications.
• Utilized Angular and TailwindCSS for frontend development, with Go, Gorilla packages, and Firestore Database for the backend.
• Hosted securely and efficiently on Google Cloud services.
Transforming this concept into a reality was not just a challenge, but a valuable learning opportunity. Each step taken in order to get multiple different technologies to come together, contributed significantly to my professional growth. I'm grateful for the journey and the lessons it brought.
