Chasco Fiesta

👁️ June 8-14 is Vision Rehabilitation Week, a time to recognize programs and services that help individuals who are visually impaired or blind live more independent lives.

Many people know the Coronation Ball as a cherished Chasco Fiesta tradition. What many may not realize is that the event also serves a greater purpose.

The 2026 Coronation Ball, hosted by the Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind; Pasco, Hernando and Citrus, welcomed a record-breaking 345 attendees and generated nearly $75,000 in support of Lighthouse programs and services.

Each year, the Lighthouse provides independent living skills training and support to more than 325 individuals of all ages throughout our community.

As we recognize Vision Rehabilitation Week, we are proud that Chasco Fiesta helps provide opportunities for local nonprofit organizations to raise awareness, build support, and make a lasting impact in the lives of those they serve. 💙

Hats off to Florida's Sports Coast for an absolutely wonderful Tourism Banquet last night! 🌟 A beautifully executed evening celebrating the spirit of adventure, achievement, and community right here in Pasco County.

It was so inspiring to hear Olympic BMX Gold Medalist and World Champion Connor Fields share his message about perseverance, resilience, and the power of manifesting your goals.
We loved hearing the exciting tourism numbers for Pasco County and all of the incredible things happening throughout our region. Florida’s Sports Coast continues to shine! 🥇

A special shoutout to Vesh for the delicious catering 🍽️ and to the team behind the spectacular drone show that made for the perfect grand finale ✨🚁

We were honored to be there and especially grateful to share a table with award recipients, including our new friends from Emberwood Manor in Dade City. We cannot wait to visit! Along with our friends and neighbors from Richey Suncoast Theatre, it made for a wonderful evening of connection and celebration. 🏆

Super early on March 20, Opening Day of Chasco Fiesta 2026, long before the gates opened, Mike Wells and his crew were already at Sims Park with the grills fired up, preparing the Gary “Buck” Joiner Memorial BBQ Lunch.

They weren’t just cooking lunch. They were carrying on a tradition and honoring a man who meant so much to Chasco Fiesta and our community as a whole. ❤️

Watching them work, seeing the Rotary members gathered, and feeling the energy of the morning was a powerful reminder of how strong our community is and how much can grow from people simply coming together.

From one simple conversation months earlier, something truly meaningful was created.

A special thank you to Mike Wells, his incredible crew, and the Rotary clubs who came together to make this memorial fundraiser possible. Your support, hard work, and heart helped honor Buck’s legacy in the best way possible.
