Riverside Kidz

As a reminder, Riverside Kidz will not be meeting this week (or 12/28 or 1/4).

We are looking forward to meeting with your kids tomorrow evening for our gospel, Christmas party, and game night!

This will be our final meeting for December. We will begin meeting again on Wednesday, January 11th. Merry Christmas! ❤

Tonight, we'll discuss a spiritual battleground: self. We'll look at 3 ways that can aid us in this battle: (1) acknowledging the supremacy of God; (2) understanding our lives our not our own & that we've been bought with a price; and (3) understanding we have been created for God's glory. ⚔

As a friendly reminder, Riverside Kidz will NOT be meeting this week (11/23). Please continue to encourage your kids to work on their buttons. At this time, we've introduced reading either the Pilgrim's Progress or the War for Man's Soul as well as verse memorization to earn a button.

This Wednesday, we'll be meeting & have a gospel + game night! 🎈 Following a gospel presentation, the kids will have the opportunity to play games & make cards for local families in need of love & encouragement. ❤️ We look forward to seeing you & your kids!

Tonight, we'll discuss a spiritual battleground: rebellion - resisting God & what is right. We'll look to the Bible for examples of submission as well as discuss how to fight against rebellion. ⚔

We’re meeting this Wednesday to continue discussing the spiritual battlegrounds. Last week, we discussed unbelief & pride. This week, we’ll discuss self. ⚔️

Tonight, we will learn that two spiritual battles that take place in our hearts are unbelief and pride. We’ll discuss how God’s Word is the best way to combat unbelief & strategies to fight against pride and encourage humility in our hearts.⚔

We had a blast last week playing games & creating some cards for the local communities!

This Wednesday (11/2 @ 6:30pm), we resume our lessons on fighting the good fight. ⚔️ We’re going to be talking about two battlegrounds in our heart that every Christian must fight in (unbelief & pride) and how to fight for the faith in these battles.

The kids have been learning so much about our hearts, God, & spiritual battles that we've decided to do something special this week! 🎈

We will still be meeting from 6:30-8:30pm and, in place of our normal routine, we will have a gospel presentation followed by the opportunity for kids to play games and make Christmas cards for local families in need of love and encouragement. We look forward to seeing you & your little ones! ❤️

Last week, we learned that the battle for faith and against sin does not end at salvation.

Tonight, we will learn that we must fight if we are to win the battle. ⚔

This week we will gather, worship, & learn that all of life is spiritual & that beneath every outward battle we face is a spiritual battle. ⚔
