Genesis Preparatory School

Our Third, Fourth, and Fifth Grade students had a great time on their overnight field trip to Busch Gardens! They got to see sloth, flamingos, and reptiles in the evening! They also got to create their own animals with the help of some wonderful volunteers! The finale of the trip was a fantastic safari on Friday morning! They saw many animals and fed some hungry giraffes some lettuce! What an amazing trip! Thank you to all of the chaperones who made this trip possible! Enjoy these pictures!

Wow, we've been busy in the art room!

Third Grade has been learning about simple machines! We’ve learned about force, work, and energy and how simple machines make work easier. Today, we got together in groups and made models of simple machines. We have a lever, an inclined plane, a pulley, a wedge, and a wheel and axle. Great job, Third Grade! Science is fun!!!

Today, we had the Annual Panther Games to mark the end of Stanford 10 Testing! The students had a blast competing in a Hula Hoop Relay, the Hippity-Hop Relay, the Scooter Relay, and Water Balloon Toss. They had so much fun! Thank you, Coach Ahearn and everyone who helped out! Enjoy some pictures!
