Yesterday, ScovilleStrong took our fight to the Capitol. 🎗️

We stood alongside hundreds of childhood cancer families from across the country at the CureFest for Childhood Cancer and Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research rally, families connected by stories we never imagined we would have to tell and a fight none of our children should have to face.

For us, this fight is deeply personal. Carson has faced cancer not once, but twice. He knows what it means to spend months in hospitals, endure treatments that take an incredible toll on his body, miss pieces of childhood he can never get back, and still get up and keep fighting. But yesterday wasn’t only about Carson. We rallied for the children still in treatment, for the survivors who will live with the lifelong effects of the treatments that saved them, and especially for the children who should be standing beside us today, but aren’t. 🤍

Childhood cancer doesn’t only happen to the child diagnosed. It changes an entire family. We rallied for the siblings, like Ciptyn, who watch their brother or sister endure things no child should have to endure while navigating their own fears, sacrifices, and emotions. We rallied for the parents and caregivers who spend countless nights beside hospital beds, celebrate every victory, carry the fear of every scan and setback, and somehow keep their families moving forward through it all.

We are incredibly grateful for the families and advocates who came before us and refused to be quiet, those who pushed for more research, better treatments, increased funding, and a future where children have more options than generations old therapies.

ScovilleStrong Foundation was created to Keep Kids Connected, but our mission has always been rooted in something even bigger: making sure kids fighting cancer know they are seen, supported, and never fighting alone. Yesterday we raised our voices for them, and today, we keep fighting. Because our kids deserve better. They deserve safer treatments, more research, more than 8%, and most importantly, they deserve a future. 🎗️💛

Carson has fought battles no kid should ever have to fight. Today, we make some noise for him, for every child still fighting, for every survivor, and for every child we carry in our hearts.
