Looking for Employment Specialists to join our growing company in the following counties: Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando, Polk and Orange County
Employment Specialists are responsible for providing assistance to individuals who have disabilities with
helpful tools and guidance to obtain substantial gainful employment.
Employment Specialists requirements:
● Complete thorough intakes upon receiving a referral from Vocational Rehabilitation Services
● Assist with the resume building process
● Assist participants with completing applications, train them in proper interviewing techniques
and with completion of onboarding paperwork
● Assist with replying back to job offers on behalf of clients
● Coaching individuals in office, work at home jobs or workplace settings
● Provide monthly case notes to the participants VR counselor to provide status updates
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree is required.
● Additional experience or education in human service fields, case management, special education
or counseling is a plus.
● Knowledge of Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Services for the disabled is also a plus.
● Must demonstrate the professional and personal characteristics required to work effectively
with disabled individuals and members of the community.
● Professionalism and trust are a must
● Possess a valid driver's license and proper insurance requirements.
● Knowledge with Spanish speaking or sign language is a plus but not required.
This is an Independent Contractor 1099 position with excellent income potential.
