Feed The Bay Program: A mission to eliminate childhood hunger on the weekends in our community. Accepted Food Donations:
Easy Mac and Cheese (2 - 3 oz.)

Every day there are students at each Anchor Bay school and at New Haven Elementary in the New Haven school district who will receive a reduced cost or free lunch. However, some of those students will have very little or nothing to eat on the weekends. Feed The Bay wants to assist those students by providing food for them on the weekends. Anchor Bay and New Haven Elementary students who are identif

ied by school staff for being at risk will be eligible for the Feed The Bay Backpack Program. Each week, qualified students will receive a bag of food to meet their needs during the weekend. Pop top can microwavable Chef Boyardee (7.5oz single serving)
Pop Top Canned Chicken/Tuna (4.5 oz)
Fruit pouches
Individual Fruit Cup (7 oz.) Pop Top Canned Vegetables (8.5 oz.) Individual Oatmeal (Box of 8—10 single servings)
Cereal Bars & Granola Bars (Box of 8—10 single servings)
10-pack 100% fruit juice pouches (6.75 oz)

What can I do to help? In order to end hunger in our community and communities nationwide, we must join together. Your help is vital to widespread success as we tackle childhood hunger. Ways to be involved:
1. Donate food.
2. Make a monetary donation ($175 feeds one student every weekend of the

3. Spread the word. We want to make sure that all students in the Anchor Bay
School District and at New Haven Elementary in the New Haven School District
have sufficient nourishment every weekend during the school year.
4. Feed The Bay hosts Packing and Inventory Nights each month during the school
year. Join us at one of our Inventory Nights, where we unpack and inventory our
food items, or at one of our Packing Nights where we pack approximately 400
food bags for the students of the Anchor Bay school district and New Haven

What a HUGE success our last Feed the Bay packing night of this school year was!

We are so thankful for all of our amazing volunteers who served with us. You did a fantastic job, and we truly could not have done it without your help.

We hope everyone has a fun and safe summer!

Feed the Bay will start posting again around the middle of August for inventory nights and packing nights beginning in September.
