Remembering my college bro Sean Lucey who died at 47 two years after being diagnosed with ALS. Missing our deep discussions which inevitably left us giggling, snorting, and remembering what's most important in life. Happy 60th Ras.

Introducing the newest member of our pack: Millie, a 13-week-old Australian Cobberdog (Labradoodle). We didn’t expect to bring home a new puppy so soon after losing our beloved Saiydee, but sometimes a dog truly chooses you. Just like with Kaiya and Tippee, Millie was in need of a new home and we were in the right place at the right time.

A heartfelt thank you to Judy DeNicola Hickey of Snug Harbor Labradoodles in Duxbury, the same wonderful breeder who brought us Kaiya and Saiydee.

Our resident 3 year old Whoodle "Tippee" is adjusting nicely to having a little sister. He’s completely worn out, but a sweet bond has formed through the many hours of play since this past Sunday.

So, welcome to the family dear Millie Bobby Bern! You have quickly stolen our hearts (and our sleep). You're a sweet love bug.

Ari received yet another concussion this past Sunday at the end of his club soccer game, which was his 4th documented concussion in two years (two soccer, one basketball, one roughhousing with his brother!) The doc at Boston Children’s Hospital has benched Ari from soccer as a result.

Concussion symptoms can be cumulative and although he will make a full recovery from this event, there was concern if he were to have a 5th or 6th at this age of brain development. He is an extremely athletic kid, so I have no doubt he will do well shifting his focus to tennis, golf, track, swim... hopefully using a racket and not his melon when a ball comes his way.

Quick shout out to our unflappable pediatrician Alan Stern who urged further evaluation. Also big thanks to Revs star/MLS commentator Taylor Twellman for chatting with me last night, and offering guidance on awareness and treatment.

Who said layovers in Boston can't be fun?! My bro Ricky Thais and his wife Nang Tien from Jacksonville had a long layover at Logan Airport so we hit the studio, grabbed an amazing sushi dinner with Jaimie Hammerling Bern, and got those guys back in time to catch their late flight to Ireland/Italy.

Great seeing this character while he’s in town.
