🐝✨ New addition to the farm!
This beehive is ready and waiting for its future residents. Soon, it will be home to thousands of hardworking honeybees that will help pollinate flowers, gardens, fruit trees, and so much more.
A single hive can contain 20,000–60,000 bees during peak season and can forage for nectar up to 2–3 miles from home. It’s amazing to think that one small hive can have such a positive impact on the surrounding environment.
Now all that’s missing are the bees! 🍯🌻🐝
Today, some tourists visiting the area reached out to buy eggs from us, and it was one of those little things that made my heart happy. 🥰
It’s pretty cool to think that people who are passing through and visiting our area are somehow finding our farm, and choosing to support us.
What started as a small dream continues to grow. It’s humbling. It’s encouraging. And honestly, it makes me a little emotional.
Thank you to everyone who supports this small, local farm—it means more than you know. We know you have options, and we’re glad you pick us. Whether you’re a local or a neighbor, or just passing through on vacation, thank you. You may just be buying a dozen eggs, some cookies, or other small items, but you’re also helping support a dream that’s been growing for years. And that means more than I can put into words. 🩵

Went outside to let the chickens out to free-range and give them their morning feed, and heard loud cheeps coming from somewhere! This hen comes out and says… “Surprise! I’m a mama now! 🥹🐥 There’s nothing sweeter than unexpected baby chicks on the farm.

Ever wonder why some farm-fresh eggs look a little matte, shiny, or even have water-mark-like color changes when you rinse them? That’s bloom, also known as the cuticle — nature’s protective coating that keeps bacteria out and preserves freshness without refrigeration. So while store-bought eggs have the bloom removed during commercial washing (which is why they MUST stay refrigerated), farm-fresh eggs still have theirs intact — which is why theyre able to sit on the counter at room temp! Just another reason local eggs are superior 😉
