We're coming up on the 12th edition of the Lime Rock Cycling GP this Sunday June 1st. The weather is so far looking cooperating (no rain); so no reason not to come out and race and have fun. Pre-reg is here: https://www.bikereg.com/lime-rock-cycling-grand-prix-2025. Look forward to seeing all of you there.
Full results for today's Ken Harrod Memorial are now posted: https://road-results.com/race/18354.
Hi everyone. For those of you that did not hear; RGT has been shut down by Wahoo; so any virtual series that I may do in 2024 will be on Zwift. I would appreciate any info on courses that may be popular on Zwift that I could use that would get some entrants to the events. Thanks in advance for your input.
Hey everyone. I'm working on a virtual racing series on RGT for this coming winter: What courses would folks like to see on this series? The great part about RGT is that I can download any course that I want and run an event on it; great stuff. I already have some great collegiate courses in there (Harriman, Black Mo', Mt. Philo). Purgatory? Warwick (MA)? Myles Standish? Let me know what you'd like to see and would participate if that course was available.
Head over to my Twitter page https://twitter.com/alanatwoodars for results for today's Sunshine Criterium.
Atwood Racing Srvcs (@alanatwoodars) / Twitter Foolishly involved in all things cycling; results guy, announcer, promoter, official, and sometimes I even spectate.
Don't forget, collegiate alumni (not just ECCC) get a $5 discount for racing; so let's see some alumni out there come join us.

Just a reminder that tomorrow afternoon at 12pm I have a free race on RGT; 2 laps of the Mt. Philo (VT) course that UVM uses for their race weekend, including the steep climb up Mt. Philo State Park. This serves as a test event preceeding a 5 race series promoted by the ECCC.
Here's the link to signup: https://user.rgtcycling.com/event?code=UTD89U.
Hope to see you all there.

Hi everyone. I am happy to formally announce the 2023 ECCC Virtual racing schedule. This will be a 5 week program plus a pre-season test event with classic ECCC courses from around the region. All races will be held on a Saturday starting at noon (EST). Race entry fees will be $5 for current ECCC and high school students, $10 for ECCC alumni, and $15 for the general public.
All of the races are hosted on RGT, a platform used by some of the top professional races in the country to showcase their courses and their events. All courses on RGT are built based on real GPX data from real roads; allowing to simulate as best as possible riding on the roads themselves.
The schedule of events is as follows:
Feb 4 (Pre-Season Test Event): Mt. Philo (VT) Virtual Road Race (2 laps of the course including park climb) - FREE EVENT
Feb 11: Philly Phlyer Virtual (4 laps of the course)
Feb 18: Live Free and Ride Harder Virtual (2 laps of the course)
Feb 25: Shippensburg Scurry Virtual (2 laps of the course -- the 2nd up Horse Killer Rd)
Mar 4: Nittany Cycling Classic Virtual (1 lap of the course -- believe me that'll be enough)
Mar 11: Army Spring Classic Virtual (2 laps of the course)
For equipment requirements, please go to the Get Started section of their website: https://www.rgtcycling.com/get-started/.
Finally, there will be no requirements for submission of weight and FTP info ahead of time: This is designed to be a friendly series with fun as it's main focus. There is no reason whatsoever to fudge or misrepresent power information, so just don't do it.
Results will be tabulated as one group; and for current collegiate/high school riders results will be further broken down into 4 categories based on average w/kg as listed on the results: See the BikeReg pages for details. Links can be found at https://eccc-cycling.com/current-calendar
We hope you will enjoy this series as we move forward towards real racing in April.
