📰 "Cleaning Process Filter Cartridges Before Sanitization and Reuse"

One good way to minimize filtration costs is to employ filters capable of being cleaned (and sanitized if required) for reuse. Preparing filters for reuse has two objectives. The first is to clean the filter by removing particulates and other contaminants that are causing reduced flow through the filter. The second is to sanitize the filters to kill any unwanted microorganisms.

🚨 We Are Looking for a Purchasing & Inventory Specialist to Join Our Team!

In this role you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts, and optimizing warehouse operations. you will be responsible for providing a wide variety of purchasing and administrative support to the company and management members. This role requires a strong understanding of inventory control systems and logistics. The Inventory Controller will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining efficient materials handling processes and supporting overall supply chain effectiveness.

📰 "The Difference Between Sterilizing Fluids and Endotoxin Removal"

You've sanitized your system. You have sterilizing grade filters installed at key points in your process. Your bioburden measurements are low, but you still have endotoxin issues. What's going on? Endotoxins or lipopolysaccharides (LPS) are released into the environment during active growth, mechanical damage, lysis, and death of gram-negative bacteria cells. Therefore, endotoxins will be likely present in your process stream coming from the original water source. Sterilization processes can release endotoxins in case when gram-negative bacteria are destroyed.
Considering the intrinsic pyrogenicity, endotoxin concentrations need to be reduced to the lowest level possible. Endotoxins are heat stable and persist even after bacterial death. These cell fragments are typically smaller than 0.01 micron, and will not be removed by a 0.22 or even a 0.10-micron sterilizing filter.
