Helpful Health Tips: During wildfires, individuals with respiratory conditions like asthma, COPD, or emphysema, as well as those with heart disease, should stay indoors as much as possible or relocate from downwind of the smoke to minimize exposure. Smoke can worsen existing respiratory problems and, in some cases, lead to new ones. If you are experiencing any respiratory problems from wildfire smoke, please visit a local urgent care or hospital.
