Hundreds of foster and adoptive parents will be joining us at our Naperville Campus next week for the Replanted Conference (Oct. 15–17), and we still have opportunities for you to be a part of it!
We’re looking for volunteers to help welcome and care for guests throughout the conference, serve behind the scenes, and help create a meaningful experience for the families who will be here.
We’re also looking for professional hair stylists who would be willing to offer their gifts and talents free of charge as a way to pamper and bless parents and caregivers of foster and adoptive kiddos.
There are a variety of ways to serve, and every role makes a difference. Click here to see the opportunities, dates, times and details: thecompass.net/page/2011?GroupId=332549

When we're in a season of hardship, we may not understand why God has allowed to walk through the valley, but we can be certain that we never walk through it alone.
God doesn’t promise that we’ll understand, He promises that He will be with us. And sometimes, that’s where we find the deepest comfort: not in having all the answers, but in knowing the Lord is right there with us.
“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.” Psalm 23:4
Have you ever wondered why Psalm 23 is a beloved chapter in the Bible? Maybe it’s because it gently invites us into a deep, loving friendship with God that has transformed millions of lives across the centuries. And now, this beautiful psalm is ready to do its life-changing work again! You’re invited to join us at The Compass Church for our exciting new teaching series as we explore this powerful and delightful classic together.
Let us know you're here! If you have a need or prayer request we can support you: thecompass.net/connectioncard

How’s your Psalm 23 memorization going?
We’re about halfway through the series, so there’s still plenty of time to memorize the whole chapter. If you haven’t started yet, jump in! And if you’ve started but are getting stuck, try some of these:
🤍Read it often: Keep Psalm 23 somewhere you’ll see it throughout the day.
🤍Say it out loud: Read a verse a few times, then try saying it without looking.
🤍Write it down: Writing the passage from memory can help you remember it.
🤍Practice during everyday routines: driving, getting ready, walking or doing the dishes.
🤍Take it a verse or two at a time: Once you have those down, start connecting them together.
🤍 Meditate on the meaning: More than just memorizing the words, take time to reflect on what Psalm 23 is telling us about our Shepherd.
We hope Psalm 23 becomes familiar enough that you can call its words to mind wherever you are.

Have you been baptized at The Compass Church?
If the answer is yes, then wear your Come Alive baptism shirt this weekend! We are going to be encouraging people to sign-up for baptism in November during our services and seeing people who have already taken this step and wearing their shirt would be extra encouraging! Let’s fill the church with excitement! We can’t wait to see you in your Come Alive shirt!
Our Shepherd has GOOD plans for us!
