I’m going to go ahead and give this book 4 thumbs up, even though there were two drawbacks IMO.

All the liquid crystal talk, the more in-depth information, went over my head. I didn’t want to think that much about it lol.

And there were too many inside jokes between the main character and her friend that also didn’t always make sense to me.

Both of those would pull me out of the book momentarily; I’d always get drawn back in though because the characters are quirky and likable. I grew to care about them!

Yasssss 🙌🏻 🌧️ 😌 Between not having to water our plants and having a reason to stay in and read, I love the rain.

Just hate being out in it 😂

Loved the characters. The story moved quickly, there was the right amount drama and A LOT of spice 🌶️ I didn’t give it five because I wanted more world building, more explanations.

This one took me a little longer to finish. I loved the premise (think Hallmark Christmas movie with shifters and spice lol) but it didn’t grab me like the other. It felt slow in some parts, a little clunky. Plus, right from the start, there’s a new term thrown at you (that’s important to the story) with no clearly stated explanation. I took it to mean one thing, but it turned out to be another, which I didn’t get until a while later. Again, I just wanted more explanation and world building. I need a little more than just spice in my romance.

Today is the day! I’m loving summer, but I’m also wanting it to be fall now 🤣
