Sam got me two Gardenia for my birthday last year, and they’re really taking off. They smell so good 😌

(I just saw where Bath & Body Works has a Gardenia wallflower scent too!)

Hockey romance books are on fire right now thanks to shows like Heated Rivalry and Off Campus, so I decided to give this a try.

It’s the first book in the BriarU series by Elle Kennedy, whose other series inspired Off Campus.

To be honest, I wasn’t crazy about the writing or the story itself.

However, here is a list of what I did enjoy about the book!

-it’s a quick read
-the characters are likeable
-the tension between characters is 🔥

Fresh from the garden: a cucumber 🥒 and nectarine 🍑

I get way too excited when I taste them and they really taste like cucumbers and nectarines 🤣

I’m like Violet from W***y Wonka as she tastes the three-course dinner chewing gum!

LOVE how these turned out!

Talk about a surprise when we cut into this - we were not expecting a yellow watermelon 😂

Tastes just as good as a regular one though!

So I had to move on from The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. I couldn’t make myself read it yet.

I ended up starting this over vacation, and I finished it just now.

Would recommend 💯 Kept guessing on what really happened until the very end.

Introducing Thelma and Velma, who we thought was originally just one rabbit. Nope! There’s two.

These resident neighborhood bunnies love to mess with Sawyer, eat our coneflowers and disappear through holes in the fence only to show up again a short time later and repeat.

Someone left these in Sam’s office, and we 🌟 believe 🌟 it may be a frenemy - a fan of the Montreal Canadiens.

Think we should wear them tonight during Game 5, or do you think they’ve been cursed? 🧐
