Persimmon Hill Ranch

Registered Kiko goats for sale.

09/26/2022

On this very warm day, in the sunshine, this girl puts her head into this big, metal tube. I guess she's taking a nap and if she can't see it, it won't hurt her.

I think these butterflies that visited my zinnias today are Eastern Tiger Swallowtails. Yellow butterflys symbolize peace. Anyway, they sure make me smile and feel peaceful.

The moon tonight. Love it.

Goats getting their wellness shots, hooves trimmed, etc. Not near as traumatized with this set up.

03/22/2022

Screaming girl.

It's such a tragedy to be separated from your playmates. She was screaming so loud that I thought she may be dying. Lol.

03/03/2022

Kids are everywhere!

02/24/2022

Just another practical use for those masks. Helps a lot when you have to go outside in freezing weather to feed a little kid.

A mountain full of kids playing hard. One adult is baby sitting. It's like there is an understanding that someone has to stay with the kids.

Mischief

Gabela has learned how to crawl under the gate and is teaching others.

01/01/2022

He wants to get over that fence so bad and she wants him over. Where there's a will, there's a way.

Christmas eve sunrise on Persimmon Hill. God's creation takes my breath away. Praise His Holy Name!

12/06/2021

Gabela is her name. It means determined because, in spite of the fact that her mom rejected her, she is very resilient.

11/30/2021

Our first kids this year. A little boy and a little girl.

07/10/2021

First time to have duck callers at my front door. Awe....the country life! Now if I can just get them to w**d the flower gardens, we'll have it made!

07/02/2021

Our watch cat.

Wasp nest

I knew bees were engineers but it looks as if wasps are also. A two story wasp nest!

06/28/2021

They are doing well.

Photos from Persimmon Hill Ranch's post 06/24/2021

Repurposed a broken rain barrel into a duck house. We'll see if they accept it.

An addition to our ranch....new herd sire. He is the son of Outlaw and Iron Horse's daughter. Shout out to S&S Kikos. Yet to be named.

They love to sunbathe on the freshly mowed grass.

05/10/2021

Awe....thanks.

Hold still a minute, sister. I have an itch.

05/07/2021

She layed like this for so long that I decided to get her picture. This is the proper way to get your vitamin D.

Newborn gophers.

04/15/2021

Cedar is candy

The goats love the red cedar tree cut just for their enjoyment.

03/28/2021

Active little kids all around me.

03/26/2021

Well....so much for that plant.

03/23/2021

Found opossum in the hen house sleeping. It's going on a nice buggy ride.

03/01/2021

The goats sure are enjoying the sunshine today.

02/19/2021

New kids

What a feisty bunch of new kids this year.

02/15/2021

Goat in a diaper.

Tried a diaper. It didn't stay on but about 30 seconds.

02/13/2021

Huh-oh. Look who is growing so much that the bath tub won't hold her much longer.
