Thank you Supervisor Chuck Washington and Rancho Water for helping make Santa Rosa Plateau Communities Firewise. The Heli-Dip Tank has been installed giving our community a valuable layer of Wildlandfire Preparedness with significantly shorter trips for refilling helicopters...minutes matter!
CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department
NFPA’s Wildfire and Firewise USA Programs

Today, CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the bravery and sacrifice of the first responders who answered the call.

Twenty-five years later, their courage and selflessness remain a lasting reminder of the strength found in service and unity. We will never forget.❤

Be prepared...

Do you know your zone?

An evacuation zone is a designated area used by emergency officials to help communicate where people may need to evacuate during an emergency. Knowing your zone ahead of time can help you understand evacuation information and act quickly if conditions change.

This National Preparedness Month, take a few minutes to:
📍 Know your zone and where it is located.
📌 Know your evacuation points and where you can go.
📱 Sign up for local alerts to receive important emergency information.

Don’t wait until an emergency to figure out where to go or where to find information.

NEW AwareCA™ | California's Official Public Safety App
Agency-verified emergency updates

AwareCA enables real-time emergency alerts and incident information directly from California's public safety agencies.

Highly recommend that every resident add this app to their cellphones.

This is an example of the Gibby Fire on Ortega Hwy and the road closure information it provided, along with other vital incident information. Their camera images were in color too.

Important: AwareCA is a supplemental information tool. It should not be relied upon as your sole source of emergency information. Always follow instructions from local authorities and official emergency channels.
