Remember the matching nightstand that went from tired old green to fresh coastal white? Well…its partner in crime has officially crossed the finish line too. 🌊😂

Apparently Mr. Possibilities has been on a mission to clear out the workshop, and this Dixie Wicker Weve cabinet was next in line. A fresh coat of Sherwin Williams White Duck later, and I’m pretty sure it’s forgotten it was ever green.

I keep bringing these “it has potential” pieces home, and somehow Mr. Possibilities keeps turning them into furniture that actually looks like it belongs in a beach house. I’d like to take credit for the vision…he’d probably like to remind everyone that he’s the one doing the sanding. 😄

The woven details on this one are what make it special, and it pairs perfectly with the matching two-drawer nightstand we just finished.

One more project out of the workshop…which means there’s room for me to bring home another one. (Poor Mr. Possibilities doesn’t know it yet. 😉)

Remember this worn-out green Dixie Wicker Weve nightstand? After a little cleaning, a lot of prep work, and plenty of Mr. Possibilities' patience, it's looking like a completely different piece.

It's amazing what a fresh coat of Sherwin Williams White Duck, a little elbow grease, and someone who can actually see my vision can do!

Now...who's taking bets on how long that empty workshop space lasts? 🌊😂

What Did I Drag Home This Time?

Well... I brought home another one. 😄

I'm convinced I see potential where everyone else sees old furniture. Mr. Possibilities is convinced I'm creating his never-ending to-do list.

Today's project is this vintage Wicker Weve by Dixie nightstand. It may not look like much right now, but those woven drawer fronts had me at hello.

He just shook his head when I unloaded it.

🌊 Fresh Drop at Flamingo Porch! 🌊

Well...Mr. Possibilities has officially been put back to work. 😄

This beautiful Kimball Hospitality bedroom set has found its way to Flamingo Porch and is ready for someone to give it a new home!

Finished in Sherwin Williams White Duck, this set includes a spacious dresser and matching nightstands with the coolest little detail—a built-in opening on the back of each nightstand to neatly hide your lamp cord. It's one of those thoughtful features you don't see every day. There is also a gorgeous matching wall mirror that is included but not pictured.

I'm pretty sure these pieces won't be lonely for long. ❤️

Well... I did it again. 😂

I found another vintage treasure that I just had to bring home.

Now, before anyone gets distracted by the current Pepto-Bismol pink paint job... look past it! 👀 Underneath all that pink are those amazing carved drawer pulls just waiting for their second chance.

But here's the real story...

I haven't shown Mr. Possibilities yet. 🤣

At some point he'll walk into the workshop, spot this chest, then slowly look at me with that expression that says, "Seriously... THIS is what you brought home?"

Of course, he always has a plan... eventually. 😄

Sometimes I get so excited about the potential of a piece that I forget to notice...well...the actual piece. 😂

Remember the time I proudly came home with what I thought was a beautiful demilune console table?

Turns out it wasn't a demilune table...

It was literally HALF of a table. 🤦‍♀️

You'd think I would've learned my lesson.

Apparently not.

This week's adventure? I brought home this little cabinet, feeling pretty proud of my find. Mr. Possibilities walked over, looked at it for about three seconds, and said...

"Didn't you notice it's missing all the trim on both sides of the base?"

Me: 👀 "...It is?"

Oops.

Good thing his nickname isn't Mr. Problems—it's Mr. Possibilities. 😄

I'm pretty sure this cabinet is about to get some brand-new trim and a fresh coastal makeover. I can already picture how cute it's going to be!

The moral of the story? I find the possibilities...Mr. Possibilities finds everything I missed. 😂🌊

I may have accidentally wandered into the home décor aisle again... 😂

Mr. Possibilities likes to think I only shop for furniture, but somehow I always come home with "just a few little things."

You know...a cute blue crab wall piece 🦀, some classic white candlesticks, a pretty seashell dish...because our furniture needs accessories, right? (That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. 😉)

The truth is, we love hunting for those finishing touches just as much as we love rescuing old furniture. Sometimes it's the little pieces that make a house feel like home.
