Historic Murray First Foundation

Calling all Murray History buffs, we need some volunteers for our upcoming May 30th walking tour. Please DM if you are interested in helping out. We are putting all the details together. The tour will be in the La Salle area neighborhood.

We have extended the gingerbread contest. There are people that have reached out saying they are still working on them... Including me. Entries can be submitted until the 30th. But check this out! There are some serious gingerbread builders.

It's that time of year! Get your molasses ready and start building for the 6th annual HMFF Gingerbread House Contest. More details to come on drop off location and dates!

👻 Ghosts of Murray: Day of the Dead Tour – November 1st 👻

Step into the shadows of Downtown Murray’s haunted history.
�Join us at starting at the Eagles Lodge for a spine-tingling Ghost Tour celebrating the Day of the Dead.

You’ll walk the same streets where the past still lingers… meet mystical apparitions, hear true tales of tragic fates and unsolved crimes, and see the return of a few fan-favorite spirits—along with new faces eager to tell their stories.

After your journey through history, warm up with hot chocolate and donuts from The Other Side Academy.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our plaster repair workshop Saturday! 🛠️✨ It was so much fun teaching you how to patch walls and sharing a bit of history with the original molding templates my family used to help restore iconic Utah landmarks like the Cathedral of the Madeleine, the City-County Building, and the Governor’s Mansion.

Big shoutout to those who watched me attempt to recreate some historic moldings — it’s harder than it looks! 😅
